...Hell Week-End...
Friday: After ingesting, masticating and swallowing our delicious dinner Salpicao prepared by Mommy Ems (Ers' Mom) and equalizing it with buko salad (also prepared by Mommy Ems...for me...hehehe...thanks po!!!) and Shushi's cake, we bonded with our musical instruments and hit some notes (as if I participated) at the third floor of the Rodriguez residence...under the spell of a potion called
"Tequilla Rose"...yum, yum, yum!!!
Saturday: In the morning, we saw
JTC's music video
handpicks at MTV. In the afternoon, we played some games with our students instead of teaching them...laziness attacked again!... (My mind was also busy thinking that
Mick Foley was actually in the same island with me...I'm so sad that I wasn't able to see him...Then, upon arriving at Ers' crib we did one of the best things to do in life: eat stuffed crust pizza and drink sarsi. (Sigh) It makes me drop the words:
"I don't eat to live, I live to eat".
In the evening, we went to Freedom Bar using Ers' car for
ttco and to see
Day one movement,
Chicosci, and other bands. To our excitement, we arrived too early. However, it helped because we were able to see the rock stars arrive one by one and we secretly memorized their plate numbers...haha...it's no longer a secret.
While waiting outside
Anonas Bldg. a car arrived but I didn't notice it because I was staring at Mcdo, confused if I'll buy some hot fudge or not. Then, in my peripheral vision, I saw a man coming so I turned my head to look at him. I stared at him for a long time 'cause he looks familiar. To my surprise, while he was walking towards the stairs he pointed at me with passion and said
"uyy!" I realized that it's
Calde of Chicosci so I was shocked bec. I don't know him and as far as I'm concern he doesn't know me. I even looked around to check if I'm not the one his pointing but I found no body. By that time, I already knew that it was a case of mistaken identity. I almost laughed but I was able to hold it bec. he's still there. When his already 3 steps away I saw his face transform, obviously realizing that I wasn't the one he thought who I am. He apologized and I responded with a smile. When all of them (his friends including Mong) were gone I told the story to my friends then I uncontrollably bursted out a laughter.
After the performance of Day one movement and Chicosci, some people left including the icons...and it was but a room of boredom inside Freedom...so we decided to leave for
Zageejoe...
Sunday: Leaving from Freedom at 12:25 A.M., Lish drove at her best speed. At exactly 1:10 A.M. we're already at the crowded vicinity of SaGuijo. The 1st V.I.P. we saw was
Nix. Then,
Champ, Rico Blanco, etc...there were loads of them.
Miggy was there and my
"new friend" was also there. (We were right, the icons from Freedom Bar left for SaGuijo) We just stayed outside--'coz...
maya is inside. We socialized with ourselves...yada yada. Then we discoverd some names to call each of us that night:
Abhie-'tag-kulit', Ers-'tag-paos', Lish-'tag-yosi/drive' (hehe...di totoo), Mon-'tag-inis', and me-'tag-asar'. At that time somebody left and went to Starmart...
Lish, sa'n ka galing?...hehe, peash!!! And we saw
Angelo Carlos (Zageejoe's prominently well-off landlord) and his friends leaving with their proud rides. When almost everybody was gone we also left...and went directly to bed.
After a couple of hours of a sound sleep we found ourselves in front of the table giving our digestive systems a heavy labor. Then we ended up fighting with Manny Pacquiao who finished
'The Battle' against
Mexico's pride Morales proudly victorious and still with humility on his battered face!!!
Panis si El Terible kay Pacman!!! In times like these...
I'm proud to be a Filipino!!!
